Layers of Light is inspired by overlapping triangles, transparency, and the way light moves through layers. Simple geometric shapes come together to create unexpected, almost mystical patterns that reveal something new each time you look.
The work consists of many layers of geometric shapes, drawn and filled with color using a variety of pens, including acrylic markers, ballpoint pens, technical pens, and gel pens. Piece is created with hand-finished pen work and pen plotting on natural, acid-free, cold-press art paper.
